Sabiduria

I was talking to my dad about dreams.
We talked about the influence of our own environment, shaping, adding and altering our perception and thus, our dreams.
He told me about when he was younger he remembered noticing that he was dreaming in colour.
I couldn't help but wonder... Did people dream in black and White in the past when tv was like that, or did they dream in colour?
Do people ever dream like old films?
We talked about our own experiences with dreams for a while. I found it really thought stimulating!
The mind is a wonderful, mysterious place.

Take this for what it was.

But a simple "I love you." shows how people perceive things differently.

So pretty much the guy in one of my classes that reminds me constantly of my stepdad, is becoming less and less like him and I'm relieved!! It used to make me uncomfortable but it's getting easier because of things like a) understanding of technology (I know SD has been around a WHILE but that's no excuse to think I don't know how a tv works!!) b) mannerisms and way of speaking are better (it was a confidence thing- we're all in the same boat) c) it's completely illogical and understands people his own age (no one is alive at SD's age- they've all been gone a while!)

Long story short: thank goodness you're finally settling in:)

My dad just asked me a question and I was all :o and started trying to lie and practically choked! Iron doesn't burn me- it's just there's so much ugly iron jewelry.

Sometimes you're better off knowing, than living without the knowledge.
Pain can be brought about by the truth but it can also offer hope and relief.
Learning objective: to know just when the truth will bring a person to their knees in agony or tears to their face in hurt and when the truth will uplift someone and calm their ocean of emotion.
